Single-layer spherical reticulated dome is a common structure in the form of the building, which has a reasonable force, light weight, high rigidity, beautiful shape and different types of structure and other advantages, so it is widely used in the world. In this paper based on a practical project as the research background, the key technology of 20 m single-layer spherical reticulated dome is analyzed and studied.In this paper 20 m single-layer spherical reticulated dome membrane structure is studied, which is a kind of space membrane structure, and it is made up of triangular frame and membrane by mechanical fixing assembly to form a triangle structure unit,then triangle structure units form a single-layer spherical reticulated dome by the connection assembly through the bolt. The single-layer spherical reticulated dome membrane structure can bear the characteristics of wind load and snow load, great resistance to environmental performance, which has high precision, good stability,low manufacturing cost and convenient installation characteristics and so on.The single-layer spherical latticed shell with slender structures and poor rigidity, the node connection not only have high manufacturing accuracy but also ensure installation quality, and the selected film material and the steel structure is difficult to fixed by splicing. Through the characteristics of different shell or grid structure node connection pattern are analysed to lay the foundation for research.And the optimal section size of the member is determined by fluid structure coupling analysis. According to the structural characteristics of single-layer spherical reticulated shells, and analysis of the spatial geometric relationship and the ideal triangle frame, the theoretical basis is provided for the research of special triangular frame welding fixture.Through a lot of research on the fixed mode between the membrane and the frame, a film program is developed which ensures convenient assembly of membrane materials and membrane pretension and improves the rigidity and bearing capacity of the spherical shell. And the use of ANSYS Workbench determines the initial pretension membrane. By means of the analysis for the installation process, the reasonable installation scheme is drafted.20m single-layer spherical reticulated dome of practical manufacture and installation process show that the nodes connected way make ensure the accuracy and convenient installation of the reticulated shell structure, the special welding jig triangular frame to ensure the welding precision triangular frame and the membrane device to ensure the membrane pretension force. The topic for the 20 m single layer spherical reticulated dome manufacturing process for analysis and research, which provides the theory basis and the practice experience of manufacturing process for single layer spherical reticulated dome of different diameters.
