In industrial applications, such as electrolytic aluminum and electroplating, require a lot of high-power DC power supply. With the power increasing, more and more power electronic devices appear, the monitoring requirements are also getting higher and higher. The traditional control methods are designed for one of the single topology structure of the rectifier system. But the circuit topology structure used in domestic power rectifier systems are numerous, if design the corresponding monitoring independently in view of the different structure of main circuit, it is time consuming and has no universal. Therefore, to achieve universal intelligent power monitoring system is very important.Aiming at the above questions, this paper designed common hardware and software library for high power DC power supply monitoring system. The system used Siemens PLC as the main control unit, combined with the PC configuration software Win CC. This system, according to the different system configuration, hardware and software design of the module, aims at the different applications, output voltage and current, chose different circuit topology structure, could achieve the real-time monitoring, corresponding fault detection, judgment and alarm for different circuit topology. This design achieved the general and intelligent power monitoring system, solved the time-consuming problem in the rectifier control system design of different topology under the traditional control mode, greatly reduced unnecessary repeat design, has much practical value, using a batch can produce good economic benefit and social benefit.
