The haze breaks in most Chinese cities which harms people’s health in recent years. The haze has a tendency to increase during the winter heating season. The main reason is that coal-fired boiler heating discharges pollutants. A novel heating system completely using wind power is proposed to replace the traditional coal-fired boiler heating system which is the main pollution source in the winter. It is based on the integration of the wind power technology,compressed air energy storage technology and heat pump heating technology.The related issues of the system are studied. The main contents are as follows:(1) A novel heating system using wind power is proposed to replace the traditional coal-fired boiler heating system which is the main pollution source in the winter. The working principle and an example of the energy storage of novel heating system are explained. Considering the fluctuation of wind power, the high-pressure compressed air is used as an energy storage method and the energy storage system is designed and calculated.(2) To solve the low efficiency of heat exchange in a piston compressor, a novel compressor is proposed which can realize both a high efficiency of heat exchange and the heat energy recycling. The working principle and energy conservation effect of the novel compressor are described. It is based on the integration of the liquid piston compressor and the shell and tube heat exchanger.It is shown that the efficiency of the novel compressor is higher than the piston compressor. The novel compressor is simulated with FLUENT software. It is shown that this novel compressor can realize the approximate isothermal compression process, therefore the novel compressor can effectively improve the efficiency of the compressor and the whole system.(3) To solve the low efficiency of heat exchange in a piston expender, a novel expender is proposed which can realize both a high efficiency of heat exchange and the heat energy recycling. The working principle and energy conservation effect of the novel expender are described. The novel expender is based on the integration of the liquid piston expender and the shell and tube heat exchanger. This expender is combined with hydraulic motor to replace pneumaticmotor which is inefficiency. It is shown that the efficiency of the novel expender is higher than the piston expender. The novel expender is simulated with FLUENT software. It is shown that this novel expender can realize the approximate isothermal expansion process, therefore the novel expender can effectively improve the efficiency of the expender and the whole system.(4) The design method of the system is studied, the parameters of each part in the design process of the system are explained and some vital parameters are analyzed. These parameters provide a reference for the design of the system.
