In this paper, the development and understanding of domestic asphalt properties of carbon nanotubes, which based on the first attempt of modified asphalt, conventional asphalt to improve the performance and study of carbon nanotubes modified asphalt pavement pure carbon nanotubes as a modifier to with improved performance, and carbon nanotubes modified asphalt as the microstructure analysis, to explore new development of modified asphalt, laying a foundation for researching and application of nanoscale carbon materials modified asphalt.In this paper, the studies of carbon nanotubes improved the temperature sensitivity of asphalt as the main purpose to study on performance of conventional asphalt, bitumen indicators of performance, which including viscosity index performance and rheological properties, including penetration, viscosity and rheology test a higher temperature, high temperature properties of carbon nanotubes modified asphalt research improved low temperature ductility, low temperature properties of carbon nanotubes to study the modified asphalt. According to the relevant literature to develop a suitable modified asphalt mix, which studies the carbon nanotube modified asphalt road performance improvements; by understanding their properties of carbon nanotubes, carbon nanotubes modified bitumen fluorescence microscopy and differential scanning calorimetry DSC microscopic tests. Macroscopic changes in the carbon nanotube experiments mainly content-based, studies of carbon nanotubes modified asphalt performance changes with different content, the temperature sensitivity of both high and low temperatures, respectively, from the back on the line experimental design. Microscopic test is mainly to explore carbon nanotubes and asphalt blending mode, and by studying the asphalt in the wet heat of carbon nanotubes to analyze changes in the course of blending mechanism.The difficulty of the test focused on the aspects of carbon nanotubes dispersed in a matrix asphalt, since carbon nanotubes have high reunion, freedom even more difficult in asphalt dispersion, emulsification paper attempts to shear at a high temperature for a long time the cut in order to achieve the best results nanotubes dispersed.
