Marshalling yards is the stations for centralized processing a large number of freight trains disintegration and marshalling. All trains which should be reorganized are reassembled in marshalling station. The work quality and adapted operational efficiency of marshalling station play an important role in the whole railway network’carrying capacity, resorting capacity, work safety, locomotive flow organization capacity and working conditions. However, as the railway transport capacity problem increasingly prominent, and operations of marshalling station is becoming more and more busy, on the premise of ensuring the safety of operation,it is particularly important to improve the operation efficiency of hump shunting, which puts forward a new test for railway signal professional students and on-site technical staff. Therefore, researching hump field interlocking simulation software and applying it to the scene ofrailway signal professional teaching and pre-service training of technical personnel can strengthen the teaching practice, so as to improve students’ professional skills.In this thesis, by analyzing the hump of computer control system structure, working principle and related technical document, it designed interlock function targeted to a certain marshalling yard, and programmed by Visual C++ on Windows platform. First, the thesisanalysed functional requirements and work flow of hump interlocking simulation software, divided the software into data structure design and initialization, command processing, route processing, simulation processing and communication protocol and detailed designed them. In data structure design and the initialization module, it designed data structures of signal equipment, input and output data, and route data, then read files to initialize the device data. The command processing module is to pre-process command data. Route processing designed hump route processing and short route processing in detail. Simulation processing described methods of simulating equipments’action and bugs. Communication module gave the communication protocol between interlocking software and upper software. Finally, the main class structure of the software was given, and with the help of upper software, it adopted system alignment means to realize the function of the interlocking system. The test results show that the software is stable and can realize the basic function of humping interlocking system.
