This paper is based on the research of railway transportation experiment system, which is urgently needed by college education.The equipment can deepen the comprehension of students' theory knowledge and improve their practice ability.In the beginning,the paper introduces the interlocking system for railway transportation experiment in hardware and software,and analyses existing deficiency of the current experiment system.Then puts forward evaluation index of reliability and fail-safe,and discourses the security technology of reliability and fail-safe for interlocking system.On the basis of original system,both hardware and software are improved to raise the system's reliability and safety.In hardware,a new PCI input-output card is devised with PCI bus interface chip CH365 which is produced by Nanjing Qinheng Electronic Corporation,aiming to replace the original ISA output card and the PCI input card.This card can be working in two operating modes,real PCI mode and local hareware definite address mode.Around the core chip CH365,the hardware circuit including the input part and output part is designed.After the completion of the hardware circuit design,the correctness of the card function is verified by Visual Basic 6.0(hereinafter referred to as VB) testing procedure under two operating modes.Later,the card's underlying application in VB software tool and Visual C++ 6.0(hereinafter referred to as VC) under two operating modes is introduced,in order to facilitate the use of the card in actual system.In software,a new interlocking system is programmed with computer language VC, to replace the original system programmed with VB.As a result,the interface is more beautiful,and the interlocking functions are more plentiful.The new system is closer to the real railway,and the system reliability is improved at the same time.Finally,the paper concludes the major work,and points out the deficiency of the system and the direction of improvement.
