The author of this thesis aims, firstly, based on historical researches in auto-control speed of hump classification yard, to build a calculation model of rolling speed and energy transformation, which combined factors including retarder, stopping device, external force etc.. And to calculate a collision energy transfer equation in the process of cars per putting and rolling. Secondly, it presents a motion simulation model of rolling cars in the real situation of pump classification yard, which is setted meter as a unit to operate it by computer. This software is delivered using a range of primarily qualitative research methods:1. Simulation model of rolling and putting cars with loading and unloading.2. The collision simulation model of putting in single car with loading and unloading and cars with loading and unloading.3. Rolling simulation model in different routes and resistance. Through comparing advantages and disadvantage of hump classification yard in the different track layouts, different speed control devices, different environment, it contributes the decision of designing hump classification yard and choosing speed control equipment.
