The fuel cell has been applied in various.If we combine the rail transit with fuel cell technique and develop a new type locomotive with the advantage of high efficient and environment protection, which will greatly promote the development of rail transportation. However, in the situation of rapid changed load, the fuel cell can’t regulate its power rapidly. So, traditional fuel cell technique can’t meet the power requirement of rapid changes when in single use. Therefore, we need an energy storage device to solve this problem. The battery of phosphoric acid iron lithium and the super-capacitor, etc, can be the energy storage device for fuel cell by bidirectional DC/DC converter access to bus.This thesis mainly focus on the research of the bidirectional DC/DC converter used in the fuel battery locomotive, studies the current situation of the fuel battery locomotive at home and abroad. Described the necessity of energy storage device applied in the energy storage device in the system of hybrid fuel battery locomotive. Introduces the design, parameter calculation and general layout of the bidirectional DC/DC converter. For the working condition and own hardware of the converter, this thesis designs a control method of voltage-loop and current-loop paralleled, which is different from the traditional control of voltage-out-loop and current-regulating-loop, it also compiles the control software for host computer by the MutiCAN protocol communication, which will benefit the debugging and manual monitoring in practical operating. The operation condition in various working condition is obtained by simulation based on Matlab/simulink, which also supports the theory. At last, this thesis completes several experiments in the condition of simulation based on existing experimental equipment, verifying the correctness and effectiveness of the hardware and control software of the bidirectional DC/DC converter and the monitoring software of the host computer.The result of the experiment shows that the bidirectional DC/DC converter designed in thesis meets the requirements effectively.
