Study On Signal Devices Maintenance System Based On Workflow Technology

the signal equipment maintenance services play an increasingly important role in ensuring the normal operation of the train. Maintenance of field equipment is still in a relatively traditional service models and methods, which can not adapt to the rapid development of the railway signaling system devices. Thus, it’s necessary to develop a management system which matches the signal equipment maintenance system. In this paper, workflow technology is used in signal service maintenance system, aiming at improving the efficiency of maintenance management.Workflow management system is a collection of automatic or semi-automatic execution of business processes, it passes between the users which participate in the project on the basis of the process definition documents, mail and other related information. Workflow engine are considered as the core of the management system, while process definition tools, and human-computer interaction are considered as the important part, these three parts work together to achieve the function of the management system, definition and execution of the process. Workflow played a significant role in improving business efficiency and standardize management departments, as the result, the application fileld of workflow technology varies from the automatic office at the beginning to the every field of the automatic control system.By researching the workflow technology and the construction the the workflow management system, the general framework is designed in this paper. Combined with signal maintenance system status, based on a relational database proposed workflow engine, this paper complete the logical database design. Next, the workflow engine function modules were analyzed to verify the feasibility of workflow-based relational database engine. Finally, an example of the application of signal maintain the system is tested, which demonstrates the process of TSRS failures reparing, then discuss the shortcomings and propose directions for improvement exist.On the basis of the data structure of workflow engine in this paper, the engine can read and write the process definition, and can to match the variety of node migration. In the implementation and application of workflow engine, it can build a new business processes easily and quickly, or modify the existing business processes and instantiation. In the application of signal maintenance management system, this system can be more comprehensive to meet the customer needs, improving the efficiency of signal maintenance system.
