CVT(continuously variable transmission(CVT) can realize the transmission than the continuous change, so as to realize the transmission and engine condition best match, can improve the vehicle fuel economy and power and improve convenience of operation and ride comfort, reduce pollution emissions, is considered to be an ideal vehicle transmission device. CVT technology has become an important direction in the development of automobile transmission, and its development potential is great, and it is one of the important development areas of automobile technology. However, the power loss of the control system is the main factor to improve the transmission efficiency of the continuously variable transmission. The CVT overall efficiency has great potential to play, equipped with CVT car, the fuel economy than hydraulic mechanical automatic transmission(at) vehicles have significantly improved, but compared with the manual transmission(MT) car rather than a and does not reflect the benefits brought about by the best point working engine in. The rise of oil price and increasingly stringent emission regulations situation, fuel consumption has become the main consideration. So it is very important for the research, design and development of CVT for new energy saving, environmental protection and high efficiency. This paper from the cone ring CVT concept, the basic characteristic of, on the structure design, transmission mechanism, static characteristics were theoretical research, and build a test bench, on speed ratio control mechanism of stability and cone-shaped CVT transmission efficiency of experimental research. Specific research is as follows:Firstly, the basic theory of the cone ring CVT is studied, including the definition of KRG, the basic features of KRG, the design of KRG, the variable speed system, the expansion mechanism and the speed ratio adjustment;Secondly, of conical ring CVT for the statics analysis, including the cone ring CVT gearbox eight different bit ratio design, of conical ring CVT power loss and the influence factors are analyzed, in CATIA established the 3D model, in the finite element software ANSYS / workbench of conical ring structure of CVT implementation of the static characteristics of, including the cone ring, input roller cone and output rolling cone in a file to eight grade eight different grades of stress, the drawing stress curve;Again, the cone ring type CVT speed ratio control mechanism design and experimental study, design the KRG speed ratio control mechanism, build the KRG ratio control mechanism and stability test bench, first of all, the acquisition test data; then the collation of the data effectively. Finally, according to the test data of transmission ratio control mechanism of stability of verification test;Finally, the cone ring CVT transmission system has carried on the theoretical research and the experimental study, the theoretical analysis of the transmission mechanism of KRG, design and build the KRG transmission efficiency of the test bench, collection, sorting test data. According to the test data obtained by the transmission efficiency of the experimental study.The research content of this thesis is of vital significance and practical value for the development and development of the conical ring CVT gearbox.
