As the shortage of oil and air pollution situation being not optimistic, the development of energy conservation and environmental protection vehicles is inevitable. Electric vehicle has the advantages of energy saving, high efficiency, zero emission and low noise etc, which fully meet the energy saving and environmental protection policy. In the driving of Demonstration Operation of Electric City Bus, how to reasonably design the small passenger electric car has significant economic and social benefits.The design and selection of the vehicle structure will have a greater impact on power and economy of vehicle, so based on the fuzzy analytic hierarchy process, this paper put forward a new scaling method namely ∞ scale method on the interval of(0, 1), and improved fuzzy AHP. And based on this scaling method, the steps of quantitative structure selection of electric vehicle were designed, so a better structure selection scheme of electric vehicle was obtained theoretically. Then based the resulting structure scheme, the vehicle structure was overall arranged and designed, the 3D model of vehicle was modeled by CATIA software, the structure strength was analyzed by finite element software, and after the vehicle structure optimization, the real vehicle production was manufactured, which realized the optimization of performance and cost.At last, the main characteristics of super capacitor and Ni MH batteries were analyzed, and based on the working principle of hybrid power supply, energy control strategy rules of hybrid power supply are analyzed, the flow chart of logic threshold control strategy was designed and the model simulation diagram was established. Then the sub models of the hybrid power model of EV such as super capacitor model, Ni MH battery model, DC/DC converter model and power bus model, were analyzed, and according to the characteristics of hybrid power structure, the original power bus model was improved. Finally using the MATLAB/SIMULINK software, the simulation model of hybrid power structure was established and simulated.
