This paper first introduces the development history of Tractive Elevator drag, and the history of the development of Chinese elevator. And then analyzes the operation principle of Tractive Elevator, the elevator’s operation principle, can prove that the elevator can run on electric power, but also can run on the state, and when the elevator running in the power generation state, to produce pump voltage can be increased, driven by the DC bus voltage frequency converter, a threat to the normal operation of the inverter, so the traditional elevator often through the installation of braking resistor to the extra power consumption, because the braking resistor excess electrical energy is converted into heat, which leads to the elevator control cabinet and the inverter to the surrounding environment temperature, and their work environment. Usually only in their work space is arranged in the air conditioning equipment, to lower the temperature of the environment, to ensure the normal operation of equipment. But this leads to a new energy consumption, resulting in a waste of energy.There are two schemes of traction elevator is mature, one is to use the energy storage component redundant electric elevator in the power generation state can be stored, when the elevator is in a state of electric supply is used in elevator. This paper analyzes the working principle of the bidirectional DC-DC device using the super capacitor as the energy storage element, performance comparison of super capacitors and other energy storage element. And then through the installation of super capacitor energy saving device in the actual project, the characteristics of energy saving and efficiency analysis, and found that the maximum of the elevator group control group control strategy cannot play the super capacitor energy storage energy-saving effect of energy-saving device, and put forward the improvement plan.The second solution is to use the elevator energy saving inverter power state is the excess electricity generated can be inverted into the three-phase alternating current, and the electricity grid inverter will, power and other electric equipment has been used to achieve the purpose of energy saving. This paper analyzes the mathematical model of the energy feedback device, control strategy and working principle. Through the actual installation of energy feedback and energy saving device, and its energy saving effect analysis. At the same time, the energy feedback device as a generator is also inevitably to bring harmonic pollution of power grid, this paper also through the actual measurement of the total harmonic content THD, to prove the energy feedback and energy saving device in total harmonic content can be meet the requirements of power grid.Finally, the paper compares the advantages and disadvantages of the two schemes, the elevator under different conditions, a single independent operation, two sets of parallel operation, still have many sets of elevator group control of elevator running, in different conditions, the number of energy consumption and energy production is different, only in the condition of suitable elevator, use the the maximum energy saving scheme can reasonably use energy saving device, in order to play the biggest role of energy saving.
