From 1950 s, studies on nonlinear and complex are increased. Nonlinear science renewed the view of encounters, just as Prigogine said, ‘it is the end of certainty’. Landscape Architecture is a major of complex, and enhanced with science. Advanced Landscape Architects used the method of nonlinear science in their practice, too.The study tries to discuss the influence of nonlinear science in Landscape Architecture, and know how they showed in design. The study makes a conclusion of nonlinear science, and comprise them with ecology theories. Then use the result to compare with landscape architecture theories and practice. During the comparison, found that nonlinear science have renewed the knowledge of structure, pattern, as well as their dynamic changing. And it also lay obscure on targets of design.The study integrates the achitectural generative method and nonlinear science, try to abstract the structure and pattern in landscape as prototype, their dynamic changing as changing rules, use the prototype-changing rules, we can have a better narrative of landscape architecture. The method can also be used to understand the practice works. The use of information technic can also support this method.In order to know whether landscape generative method works on dynamic changing of landscape assessment or not, the study tests the method on a real project. In the test, the study use CA model to make the suitable area changed. Its results can give some pieces of refining advices for designers. And change the position of pots and road in original project.But we must aware of the limit of landscape architectural generative method. It cannot be used during a whole project. For we have to take account of too many things during a project, computers can not recognize too much relations, and we have to use computers to know what happened on earth during a dynamic process. So the landscape architectural generative method can only be used partly during a landscape project.
