| The fan is a kind of machine to guide the flow of gas which is widely used in factory, mine, tunnel and so on for the aim of dust exhaust, heat extraction and gas exchange. At present, the design of fan is mainly depend on experience, thus result in the shortcomings of materials waste, large weight and high safety margin. So, finding a way to analysis the mechanical properties of big fan and reduce its weight is important.The stator of big fan has long span but thin shell. In order to increase the analysis efficiency, this paper uses the command stream of ANSYS to generate and analysis the model parametrically. By analyzing the case’s mechanical response under different design parameters, the direction and principles of weight reduction are point out and a weight reduction scheme is obtained. The optimizing of rotor mainly focus on its shaft. An accurate and efficiency method is used to calculate its critical speed, so the design parameter can be changed without modeling again. By a large amount of calculations and analysis, the way to reduce the rotor’s weight is pointed out and two weight reduction schemes are obtained.This paper provides an efficiency method for the analysis of large fan, and find out an optimization method of weight reduction which is suitable for engineer to use. It is meaningful for the manufacture of fan in a lower cost. |
