The thermal production process of mini-box-type high temperature resistance furnace belongs to a kind of one-order inertia system with pure delay. It works with the dynamic characteristics of large inertia, high lag, nonlinear and time-varying.The choice approaches of the switching threshold ev(t)(ev(t)> 0) between the Fuzzy control algorithm and the PID control algorithm is summarized in the design of the temperature-control system of the resistance furnace with the Fuzzy+PID control algorithm. When|e(t)|≥ev(t), the dynamic performance advantages of the fuzzy control algorithm ensure the quality of the system response speed. When|e(t)|<ev(t), the static performance advantages of the PID control algorithm ensure the quality of the system response accuracy. A fast, smooth and precise control mode with steady state error about 1℃ is achieved in the design of the temperature-control system of the resistance furnace finally.During the design under the Fuzzy PID control algorithm, according to the experts’ knowledge and the live operating experience, the core parameters of the PID controller (Kp,KI and KD) are adjusted around the equilibrium point X0=[Kp0 KI0 KD0] optimally and dynamically. A fast, smooth and steady control mode with steady state error about 2℃ is achieved in the design of the temperature-control system of the resistance furnace finally.The hardware designs of the temperature-control system include:the temperature signal feedback channel with compacted structure and the control signal output channel which conforms to the standards of electromagnetic compatibility and interference immunity. During the flexible software design of the temperature-control system, software procedures are developed based on the Fuzzy+PID control algorithm and the Fuzzy PID control algorithm. Ultimately, after the installation and debugging of the reliable hardware and the flexible software of the temperature-control system, the resistance furnace can work safely and efficiently.
