So urban design will make a big change according to the demand under the promote of the digital technology in such a background. With the Further study and comprehensive construction of smart city, traditional urban design gradually developed into the digital urban design.This paper analysis on the potential impact of urban design by digital technology and research for the theme, research at various stages and all aspects of urban design’s digital living as the main content, Firstly discusses the influence of digital technology on human society on the basis of understanding the meaning of being digital. It fundamentally changed all aspects of the city,Changed the way of people’s lives and production,also changed people’s aesthetic taste, at the same time make the urban design to a new height. No matter from social demand, technology development and the perspective of aesthetic pursuit, urban design being digital has become an irreversible trend.
