In recent years,with the rapid development of the economy, the government is increasing investment on bridge construction, and thanks to the progress of science and technology the number of large bridges has gradually increased. But at the same time, accidents occur frequently, almost every day we can hear the report of the bridge accident. The bridge has characteristics of the high accident destructive and complex relationship influenced by environment, which has caused serious influence to traffic safety and the normal production of our life. Currently fiber optic sensor technology applicable to engineering safety monitoring on strain, pressure, displacement, temperature, and other key parameters is relatively mature, fiber optic sensors demodulation technology and optical fiber sensors networking technologies have also been able to meet the needs of the project. Based on fiber-optic monitoring hardware, a set of suitable bridge system safety monitoring of good human-computer interaction and multi-parameter software platform is builded in this paper. The software system overcome the traditional software’s defects, such as not achieving real-time display and functions being single, and is a versatile visual real-time monitoring system designed to monitor bridge safety.The design objective of monitoring software is defined, and the frame structure of software platform is introduced in this paper, with the construction of monitoring software architecture design and monitoring software are given, the choice of database and related technology, has made the detailed design of the system module.We employed Microsoft Visual C++2010 development environment, to develop software platform using the modular design concept and the overall framework based on the dialog box. This software framework based on the dialog box, according to the object-oriented programming ideas, package the Interface landscaping template dialog box class, and let all the dialog box can be inherited from the interface landscaping interface.The system, whose core is the Receiving and processing key parameters of bridge system safety to complete real-time display, have achieved the functions of parameter settings, data acquisition and processing, real-time display, database storage, forecast warming and other functions of a monitoring system.The design accomplished the communication between PC and the optical fiber grating demodulator-FBGA, and the communication between PC and optical switch, both using serial communication. Software system creates a fiber grating demodulator FBGA communication threads and an optical switch communication thread, accomplish synchronization of data collection, while the collection and analysis of data also employ multi-threaded processing, operational efficiency significantly. The data forms include the data of curves interface and list interface, in order to ensure that the work does not interfere with each other and to ensure the data synchronization, the same method using multi thread.On the database side, taking advantage of ACCESS, the platform can accomplish more quickly, long-term storage of bridge safety system’s parameter setting and the real-time measured value, to complete the data processing and preservation. Meanwhile, according to the data interface list range in different colors show whether there is an alarm, warning users of a system malfunction. According to the measured value and the threshold, set different alarm level, to distinguish the emergency level, enable the operator to make treatment measures in the first time.This software have a certain period of laboratory environment and bridge environment related tests, and prove good test results. At the same time, the software also trial run under actual bridges environment for a long time, and have stable performance, interface operable, and meet the current system’s needs and functions.
