With the further development of science and technology, electric energy plays a very important role in all areas of social life. As the important electrical equipment in the substation, the high voltage switch cubicle often occur within the local high temperature conditions If not treated, it can cause huge losses of national economy. Since the narrow space and strong electromagnetic interference in switch cubicle, the traditional temperature measurement methods have been greatly limited. The Fiber Bragg Grating sensor has good anti-electromagnetic interference capability and good insulation properties. It can be installed directly on the charged surface, and is very suitable for high voltage switchgear substation which has strong electromagnetic interference environment. And it is ideal for temperature measurement system of high voltage switchgear. Then it can deal with the problem that hard to monitor junction temperature fundamentally.The subject comes from a project about switchgear temperature monitoring system development of one electric company in Zibo, Shandong Province. The specific need is that when FBG temperature sensor is installed in high voltage switchgear to detect temperature of measuring points, then the temperature data is sent to the scene temperature collection terminals via GPRS communication technology. In order to monitor switch contacts inside temperature real-time observations, The PC software needs to display the temperature data of each measuring point and make the alarm response in time when the abnormal temperature occurs, in order to ensure the safe operation of Substation.Thesis focuses on analyzing theory about fiber grating temperature measurement principle and GPRS communication technology, then determine the design of substation switchgear temperature monitoring system. System hardware consists of FBG sensors, hardware acquisition system. On the software side, analyze the software requirements from the paper from the functional and non-functional aspects, design modular software as modules. The system is programmed by C++language, in Microsoft Visual C++2010 development environment,and combines subject requirements and application environments, then choose to use Access2010 database. According to the general database design steps to determine the entity information system database, and based on this design concept model and logical model of the system database, and ultimately we complete the system database design. Finally, the realization of system software platform is been specifically addressed, the specific features include:system management module, data acquisition module, the module temperature in real-time display, alarm history query module and function modules. In order to ensure the stability of the system, a long run test is carried out for the system. Test results show that the complete substation switchgear temperature monitoring system is stable, easy to operate to meet customer demand, and is a reliable utility substation temperature measurement method.High Voltage Switchgear fiber grating temperature measuring system can better meet the actual production of high voltage switchgear substation contact temperature measurement needs, realize real-time monitoring and early warning of high-voltage switchgear contact temperature. And security can predict in advance accidents. It has important theoretical value and significance for high voltage switchgear and electrical equipment to ensure safe operation.
