In recent years, along with the national science and technology continue to implement, the rapid development of the national economy, drives the automobile industry is in rapid development. TR company is the largest professional crankshaft crankshaft production enterprises, as one of the most important parts of internal combustion engine, the structure parameters and processing technology level, affect the service life and the reliability of internal combustion engine largely determines the car industry, production quality. Crankshaft surface quenching is the main means of strengthening, surface quenching is to obtain a certain depth of hardened layer. Effective control of monitor crankshaft hardened layer depth directly determine the performance of TR crankshaft, crankshaft hardening layer detection method is destructive sampling. Traditional crankshaft hardening layer detection sampling complex, high requirement on the specimen, equipment and manpower of high investment, long cycle, the high cost of detection.In this paper, in order to detect TR company crankshaft hardening layer of ultrasonic nondestructive testing, using the way of hard layer detection of crankshaft quenching improvement research. First introduces the ultrasonic nondestructive detection related mathematical and physical principle, and the relevant contents of ultrasonic nondestructive testing equipment and testing system, lay the theoretical foundation for the subsequent application of ultrasonic nondestructive testing technology transformation and quality management. And then discusses the application situation of ultrasonic nondestructive testing technology in the inspection of crankshaft hardening layer, and analyses the problems in practice. Then using the experimental method and comparison of selection of ultrasonic equipment, frequency and the wedge right, then to the ultrasonic nondestructive detection results of crankshaft hardening layer was evaluated to verify, in the relevant rules of practical application, the implement of the improved TR company crankshaft hardening layer detection.Finally on the benefit of crankshaft hardening layer detection improvement of TR company are analyzed.
