Although CFS pile composite foundation is used in some engineering projects and its bearing capacity could satisfy the engineering requirement, the mechanism of CFS pile composite foundation need more research. Based on the former research, the strength and the microstructure of the material of the CFS pile is analyzed. According to the static load test of single pile composite foundation and the field load test in large area, numerical calculation method is used to simulate the field test. In order to study the CFS pile composite foundation bearing capacity, the numerical simulation is considered by the different parameters of pile length and spacing, cushion thickness and modulus. The main research are as follows:(1)Through the indoor experiment study, the physical and chemical characteristics of steel slag, fly ash is analyzed. The uniaxial compressive strength and microstructure of the steel slag concrete in different age are tested to provide the basis for the engineering application.(2)Through an application of CFS pile composite foundation, the numerical model of the composite foundation is established by applying the numerical simulation software. The static load test of single pile composite foundation and the field load test in large area are simulated by numerical method. Compared the numerical results with the field test results, the mechanism of the CFS pile composite foundation is discussed.(3)In order to study the bearing capacity of the CFS pile composite foundation, the numerical simulation is carried out by changing the parameters of pile length and spacing, cushion thickness and modulus. The numerical results provide the basis for the parameter design of CFS pile composite foundation.
