Planning And Design Of Yanling Park In Anxin County Based On Regional Culture

In recent years, with the rapid development of economy and the improvement of people’s living standard, urban park is becoming an irreplaceable part of the lives of urban residents. However, the loss phenomenon of the regional characteristics of the park is more obvious, the difference between them is also smaller. under the impact of globalization and foreign culture, the park is losing its regional characteristics and differentiation. Westernization and assimilation are widely existed in the design of domestic parks.Therefore, it is urgent and important to conduct the research on regional culture characteristics of urban parks. Based on this, this paper takes the planning and design of Yanling Park in Anxin County as an example, studying the expression of the regional culture in the park, aiming to provide reference and suggestions for the planning and design of Yanling Park and of other similar parks.This paper sets the display form of the regional culture in modern park as the research object, aiming to solve the problem of the loss of regional culture characteristics in park design. Through a comprehensive research on the local culture and the status quo using data collection, field investigation, field measurements, etc. and the analysis on the park planning and design especially on the regional culture aspect, such as the design of Tang Paradise, Xujiahui Park, etc., this study will summarize the expression pattern of the regional culture in the park design and conduct the design of the Yanling Park in Anxin County.The regional culture helps to create a distinctive park landscape using local materials, folk customs, architecture form and plant configuration as its expression carrier through such approaches as retention, repair, extraction, reference, reproduction, etc.Based on the analysis and study on six parks including Datang Furong Park, Xujiahui Park, Qu Jiang Chi Remains Park, Yuan Dynasty City Park, Guangdong Zhong Shan Shipyard Park, Guangzhou Yuexiu Park, this paper concludes the following design concepts: 1. The holistic design of the park should be based on local culture and follow the principle of sustainable development of regional culture; 2. Park design should follow the principle of maximum retention of historical relics of, which will contribute to the extension of history and culture; 3. park landscape should be combined with the surroundings, creating green leisure space for the city; 4.Designers should pay attention to the reproduction of historical landscape; 5. Bring the sense of belonging to residents by using local materials in park landscape design.Based on the analysis of the planning and design concepts of the model park, combining the expression of regional culture in park design, this paper applies the design philosophy to the design of Yanling Park in Anxin County and considers it as a comprehensive modern urban park, which has beautiful natural environment, prominent regional culture and multifunction as leisure, education and recreation.
