Electric Vehicle (EV) has no pollution, low noise and its energy efficient is high, etc, These advantages solved the problems such as energy, pollution and climate warming that made by traditional vehicle. So governments and car manufacturers invest a lot of money in the research and development of EV and have obtained certain achievements. The research of EV technology in our country has begun later,a series of key technologies need to be solved on the EV. Motor and its control technology is one of the mostimportant technologies that must be solved firstly. Permanent magnet Brushless DC Motor(BLDCM) has been the best choice for EV with itslarge torque, low noise, wide speed range, high power density and superior speed regulation.Therefore, the study of BLDCM control system has greatly theory meaning and practice value.This topic used BLDCMfor the research object, based on the related domestic and overseas research literatures,designed the BLDCMcontrol system with definite practical value, including hardware and software.In this paper, the main research contents are as follows:1. The BLDCM simulation model is established. Based on the analysis of the mathematical model of BLDCM, using Matlab/Simulink simulation platform building BLDCM control system and simulation analysis.2. Designed with MC9S12XS128 microcontroller as the core controller of BLDCM. According to the principle of BLDCM and drive control system requirements, design of BLDCM controller software and hardware system. Hardware system including control circuit and driver circuit two parts, the software system is given in detail design flow chart of each module.3. Developed MC9S12XS128 microcontroller underlying driver module library, designed of the rapid control prototype of permanent BLDCM, the controller of the Simulink model automatically for the MC9S12XS128 embedded system C code and compile the download to the controller, no manual coding, speed up the development of BLDCM controller.4. Established BLDCM control system experimental platform, the experimental results show that the controller design is reasonable, stable and reliable, with strong application value.
