Data acquisition systems are widely applied in public service apartments, such as water supply, electricity and gas supply sectors, which are closely related with people’s lives. In this new century, informationization and intellectualization has been taking place in almost every industry, including the power industry. Traditional way to acquire power data is restricted by transmission distance and environment, which is always of high cost and low efficiency. Besides, the data always can’t be collected and transmitted in real time, which bring difficulties for the administration department to analysis.Zig Bee technology emerges in recent years. It is one kind of low rate wireless communication technology, which can construct network to transmit data in short distance. At the same time, it needs less power. Compared to the traditional way, which is of complicated wiring and low efficiency, it is a better solution and is more competitive in market.Zigbee can be used to construct local network and transmit data, so it can realize th e wireless acquisition of customer power data, and transmit the data to PC. The PC will co mplete the analysis and produce the final data report, which is of great significance to redu ce energy consumption for the whole society.Firstly,this paper presents the overview of Zigbee technology, then the steps to construct network is introduced and the strategy of power data acquisition and analysis system is proposed. The hardware of each module in the system is designed, mainly include summary part and acquisition terminal. The acquisition terminal is composed by collector and power meter, which are linked by opto-coupler in RS485 standard. Collector and concentrator use the CC2530 single-chip solution with 8051 central unit. The concentrator communicates with PC by the RS232 serial port. The system software development environment is IAR7.5 and TI’s Z-Stack protocol stack. Human-computer interface is designed by C# in Visual Studio 2010, and finally completed with SQLServer2000 database, which can provide analysis, pricing and data storage. Finally,the simulation experiment of the system is introduced. The simulation tests prove that the design ideas in this paper is feasible. 48 Figures,5 Tables,58 References.
