Reticulated shell structure is a kind of surface type grid structure, having the characteristics of rod system and the housing structure. Reticulated shell structure’s force is uniform, has large rigidity, and it is a small deformation structure, has the advantages of light weight, strong integrity, simple calculation, and has the advantages of less consumption of steel, simple construction, fast etc. The modelling of structural is novelty, form stretch, having an expressive force of artistic.According to the different of mesh forms, common single-layer ellipsoid reticulated shell forms are:ribbed ellipsoid reticulated shell, Kiewitt ellipsoid reticulated shell, lamella ellipsoid reticulated shell, geodesic ellipsoid reticulated shell, Schwedler ellipsoid reticulated shell and three-dimensional ellipsoid reticulated shell. The main work of this paper has:1、Draw into the ellipsoid formula and the proportional coefficient t, determining the coordinates of points on the ellipsoid, and then according to the ribbed, lamella, Kiewitt, Schwedler, geodesic, three-dimensional shell’s certain laws of arrangement of bars, with the APDL parametric design language of ANSYS software, parametric designing of the six kinds of the single-layer ellipsoid reticulated shell, model related to ellipsoid reticulated shell are given in different macro geometry parameters, and then obtaining this kind of ellipsoid reticulated shell parameter design method.2、According to the distance formula of two space points, determination of relationship between the member length of ellipsoid reticulated shells and various of geometric parameters, obtaining six kinds of single-layer ellipsoid reticulated shells’ relationship of various of geometric parameters.During the relationship between variouses of geometric parameters, and through the relationship between the geometric parameters of the ellipsoid reticulated shell, simultaneous equations, the relationship between the long axis and the rise, then you can re meshing, the division’s meshing is more reasonable.3、 Application of ANSYS software, static analysis of characteristics to the six types of ellipsoid reticulated shell structure, and analysis the static characteristics influence of the short axis, the vector span ratio, boundary conditions change on the ellipsoid reticulated shell, getting some conclusions with application value.4-. Analyse the stability performance of the ellipsoid reticulated shell structure by using ANSYS software, and discuss the influence of eigenvalue bucking analysis and geometric nonlinear analysis in the change of short axis, rise span ratio, boundary conditions, get two kind of ellipsoid reticulated shell whole process of response curve in the maximum flexion., and lay the foundation for comprehensive understanding of ellipsoid reticulated shell stability and ultimate bearing capacity.
