With the rapid growth of the number of cars, many traffic problems arised, "parking is difficult",that is one of the city traffic problems. In order to alleviate parking problems, large underground parking lots emerged, they are not only convenient for car parking, but also save floor spaces. Due to the low level of intelligence the traditional parking management systems can not meet the need of large underground parking lots. There are many problems,such as: 1、underground parking lots lack the necessary guidance information, make users difficult to find empty spaces; 2、whether it is long-term or temporary user when enters or exits the parking lot must stop the vehicle, parking lot entrances and exits are easily cause congestion; 3、the lighting control mode is draggle, makes a serious waste of energy; 4、parking security is low, the safety of the vehicles can not be guaranteed.In order to solve these problems, this paper presents an intelligent parking management system, it blend RFID technology, license plate recognition technology, ZigBee wireless communication technology and sensing technology together organically, improved the automation greatly. The following are the main works of the paper:(1) Designed intelligent lighting controller:intelligent lighting controller provide a hardware foundation for lighting navigation and intelligent lighting control. The parking nodes complete the IntelliSense on the parking spaces; the lane nodes combined intelligent lighting controllers with RFID readers, so they can get the identities, location and driving direction of the vehicles, then uploading information via ZigBee, thus completing the real-time location of the vehicles.(2) According to the actual environment utilizing grid method for modeling the parking lot, then improved the Dijkstra algorithm and applied it in path planning of the parking lot successfully. It can map out a optimal path from the entrance to the target parking space, improve parking efficiency of the users.The results show that the optimized algorithm is not only computing speed but also improved the confidence level of optimal path searching.(3) Through the integrated use of the license plate recognition technology and RFID technology, parking entrance achieved that a fixed vehicle enters the parking lot without stopping, and improved the security of the parking lot.(4) Using C# programming language, SQL Server database, etc, to complete the software of the management system, the management system is user-friendly and set vehicle information management, optimal parking allocation and path planning in one.Ultimately, research results in this paper applied in a large public underground parking lot developed by SD-GOLD, the management system improved the intelligence and operational efficiency of the parking lot.
