With the rapid development of the computer technology and wireless communication technologies and improvement of living standard, using network intelligent home system has been widely accepted and recognized by people. Wireless intelligent lighting system which combines wireless communication technology and embedded system technology and LED together as a new born technology, has attracted people's eyes in recent years by the character of no wiring easy to operate and can add or remove the lights at anytime.ZigBee thechnology is a wireless communication technology which characters are short distance, low power, low data rate and low price.These advantages fill the blank of the wireless communication market and have a good prospect. It has a wide use in wireless location industry, automotive automation, industrial control, consumer electronics, medical device control, home lighting and building automation,especially in intelligent home lighting.This article gives a program of wireless lighting system based on ZigBee and the program includes the analysis of the protocol, design of network structure, design of hardware circuit and software. Analysis of protocol introduces the history of the ZigBee protocol and analyse the structure of the protocol, including PHY, MAC, NETWORK, APS, AF and ZDO. The design of network structure compares the main structure of the network and chooses the point to point structure as the most appropriate structure.The design of hardware first design the system structure and then choose the chip and design the circuit,at last give the PCB layer of RF module. The design of soft ware design the function of the system, including the auto create network, binding device, ordinary lighting, timing lighting, temperature lighting and photosensitive lighting and use uCOSii as the embedded operate system. Design the man-machine graphic interface that user can operate the system easily. Finally verified the result and the result show that the system can work successfully and achived the target of the design.
