The Research And Application Of The Management Information System Of Five Liability Subjects In Engineering Projects

According to the requirement of our country’s energetically development of informatization, combining the characters and main problems of modern civil engineering construction project, this article aims to solve emphatically the mutual coordination of the five subjects of liability, guarantee the project quality and avoid the violation of regulation in various construction processes. The five subjects of liability(the units of construction, investigation, designing, supervising and implementation) were creatively put together with the units of material, equipment, provision etc. on one system platform. Based on the theory of project management, project cooperation and e-business, the data, information and knowledge formed by the involving units during the project implementation process were intensively stored and managed. We expect to supply an environment for project information sharing and communication as well as teamwork on the internet platform and mobile office platform for all involving project units.Using network technique, management information system of five liability subjects in civil engineering construction provides one information communication platform to involving units and builds up the sharing environment for information exchanging and coopertion. The users of this system includes the proprietors, functional departments, project departments, project inner departments, supervising units and so on. All the concerning public information of the project are stored intensively in the central data bank. After authentication and through the WEB interface, the involving units may visit the item information in the central data bank, get the information such as project schedule, announcement, plan, paying of the project funds etc. With corresponding authority some involving units may also conduct online information distribution and processing including operations like document information query, downloading and uploading. The information system applications while improving the management efficiency and level enormously, this system also promotes the information construction of the project greatly.
