Since the 21st century, the domestic real estate has expanded rapidly, which has a great impact on relevant building materials market. Hence the building materials market is forced to increase construction material and decoration material which are a huge market share for manufacturing market. In order to get sudden huge profits, a large number of materials, not meeting the national production standard, swarm into the market. A great deal of high buildings and different styles of residential quarters emerge, especially in the cities. Then people gradually concern about "indoor pollution", and they begin to pay much attention to environmental protection and some related concepts such as "sustainable development" and "green revolution".Since the 1970s, under the influence of Western "Green Revolution". Many designers regard "green design" as the first design principle, and they express their design ideas through the use of environmentally friendly materials, new environmentally friendly composites and other materials. Among numerous works, especially in the field of construction, there are considerable ones whose design theme centers on "green plants". The following are the representative works. Vincent callebaut Architecture Office in Paris has the "Gate Residential" project in Cairo, the capital of Egypt. Associates has the Muslim plant expansion project in Johor Bahru, Malaysia. French architect Jean Nouvel designs Musee du Quai Branly in Paris. Among considerable indoor works, the design centering on "natural plants" is refreshing and brings a feeling of returning to nature. Kevin Roche designs Ford Foundation Headquarters in New York, and MVRDV designs Peruri 88 in Jakarta, the capital of Indonesia. These two works, with "soilless cultivation" technology, take advantage of green plants to show the extension of the entire space, and at the same time demonstrate another direction of indoor design style.According to scientific objective statistics, people spend on average 70% to 80% of the time indoors everyday. Therefore, people concern mostly whether indoor environment is safe and harmless.
