Steel arch is an important method of construction of bridge in mountain area. It is combination of a certain number of elongated basic units, by varying the number and proportion and position of the chord length of the basic unit can spliced out for different span, different vector span ratio of the steel arch. Steel arch only needs a short construction period of construction and can be easy assembled and disassembled. With advantages of safe, reliable, economic and environmental protection, steel arch is an extremely competitive arch construction method. The stress behavior research of steel arch has important practical engineering value. Based on Q ianjiang District Zhengzhou bridge expansion project, this project using MIDAS/C ivil finite element analysis software, establish the space model of the steel arch and research load lateral distribution of steel arch. By comparing the changes of lateral load distribution influence line of steel arch under different parameters, study on the influencing factors of the change of lateral load distribution of arch Specific work is as follows:① It overviews the emergence and development of the arch bridge, introduces several construction methods of arch brid ge, and the suitable conditio ns, advantages and disadvantages of different construction methods. Introduces the research status in the status of domestic arch construction applications, as well as the lateral arch load distribution.② Introduces the concept of lateral load distribution and the theory and different applicable conditions of several common calculation of lateral load distribution. Find out a theory for the lateral load distribution calculation of the steel arch.③ Establish finite element model of the steel arch. By applying a concentrated load on the arch, analysis the deflection and the load distribution of the steel arch. For large span arch bridge construction, often use ring section construction. According to the main arch pouring scheme, study lateral load distribution of every steel arch in different plan of main arch pouring scheme. By comparing the difference among the measured value, theoretical calculation value and finite element model of calculation values, verify the applicability of elastically supported continuous beam method, and fit lateral load distribution coefficient of arch under uniformly distributed load.④ From the vector span ratio, lateral connections, horizontal spacing and steel arch specimens four aspects, establish finite element model and compare the deflection in 1/2L section and 1/4L section, research influencing factors of lateral load distribution of the steel arch. It can provide some reference for designing different span ratio and width steel arch for construction of arch bridge.
