Research On Traffic Congestion Problem And Countermeasure In Chongqing

With the rapid development of China’s large and medium-sized cities and city scale expands unceasingly, city traffic congestion problem is also growing, has become a bottleneck hindering the development of the city further. At present, governance urban traffic problem is the first strategic task of traffic congestion. How to solve the problem of congestion, maximizing efficiency, convenient travel, and this article has carried on the thorough research.Chongqing is one of the municipalities directly under the central government in our country, as well as other cities by the problem of traffic imbalance between supply and demand, and to be solved. By using the experience of domestic and foreign advanced urban traffic management, refer to the control measures to solve the traffic problems of management, thus to chongqing in terms of transportation of the gravity of the in-depth analysis of " By other’s faults, wise men correct their own ", to find out the advanced idea, from the global grasp, formulate the reasonable policy to solve the problem of traffic. Based on this background, this paper got some research results of Chongqing’s traffic congestion problems, and puts forward some practical solutions.First of all, the paper expounds the research background and research purpose and meaning, determine the research technical route; Secondly, based on the analysis of the traffic characteristics of time and space, from the perspective of urban traffic characteristics and development trend, this paper expounds in detail the present situation of the traffic congestion in chongqing, mainly including the main congestion point judgement and evaluation as well as congestion produced cause and effect; Finally in other developed countries and the urban traffic congestion measures at home and abroad for reference, on the basis of, based on the practice of chongqing, put forward the countermeasures to solve the problem of chongqing traffic from multiple angles and suggestion.This article provides the governance in Chongqing urban traffic congestion related theory foundation and management measures, for the urban managers provide decision support for management measures, and solve the traffic problems, help the healthy and sustainable development of the city.
