| With the development of the transportation in China, there are more than 757.1 million bridges have been built up to the end of 2014, reaches the top level in the world. The bridge not only makes the road cross the river, lake, sea and so on become reality, but also brings great convenience to the development of urban transport, it plays an vital role in the road unblocked.Among all the bridges, the box girder bridge is widely used, for the merit of large torsional stiffness, beautiful appearance, smooth lines and a good visual effect, which makes it the best fit for the curve bridges with small radius, and it is common in urban viaduct and interchange ramp. However, ther are many transverse over-turning bridge accidents happened in recent years, which caused larger repercussions in society. In order to reduce the possibility of those accidents to the greatest extent in the future, more and more engineers and scholars began to explore the reasons of those accidents.In this paper, the development and research status quo of anti-overturning of box bridges was described, the relevant provisions and norms in domestic and international are analyzed, and the anti-overturning performance rule of an actual bridge under various situation s is analyzed. The main works includes:â‘ Analyzed the norm of anti-overturning checking and checking loads in the specification for 04 highways of China, Municipal specification of China, the AASHTO of US and the BS 5400 of UK. Discussed the development of anti-overturning checking, The calculation of the load level in the standard are compared, discussed rigidity calculation based on the relevant specification design load security.â‘¡Analyzed the loading features of the curved bridge,pointed out the major factor of the influence of the ability of unti-overturning, such as radius of curvature, number of spans, bearing arrangements and so on. Based on the anti-overturning checking formulas in those standards, the anti-overturning checking formulas concerning different parameters are derived rely on the software of MATLAB. At last, the correctness of the proposed formula is verified through an actual project.â‘¢To find out the changes of parameters to the anti-overturning performance, an effective strategies for design and after reinforcement of bridges, based on the analysis of a finite element model created by Midas/Civil.â‘£Summarized the design philosophy, design measures and the matters needing attention in construction to improve the unti-overturning of the newly building bridge based on the previous research and the result of the example analysis; Analysis & Conclusion The technical principle and applicability of the reinforce of existing bridge unti-overturning, And has carried on the instance analysis. |
