| The soft foundation has the characteristic of "three high and three low", namely high water content, high void ratio, high compressibility, low strength, low permeability and low coefficient of consolidation. In order to overcome the above disadvantages of soft foundation, composite foundation is usually used in engineering on soft foundation reinforcement. Composite foundation has higher carrying capacity and better controlled deformation than natural foundation. What’s more, it’s more economical than pile foundation, so it has been more and more widely used in the engineering and achieved good economic and social benefits. However, the theoretical research is still far behind the engineering practice, especially in the field of lock projects. Force analysis about composite foundation and locks’ structure is an unsolved problem in the design of locks.Based on ABAQUS finite element software, combined with second-tier ship lock of Qingyuan Hydro project, this paper has established chamber structurethree-dimensional nonlinear finite element model of composite foundation.By analysing Chamber structural stress 〠strain characteristic 〠bearing behavior of composite foundation and influencing factors in different working conditions, this paper obtains some results with a reference value for the composite foundation’s chamber structure, providing reference for the structural design of this type. Specific works are as follows:(1) By using finite element calculations, the displacement 〠stress and other indicators of locks’ structure in different working conditions including the end of constructionã€maintenance can be gotten, and low water and high water, displacement and stress law of locks’ structure in different working conditions can be analysed.(2) Composite foundation’s mechanical properties such as settlementã€foundation reaction forceã€displacement and stress of pileã€pile- soil mechanics traits load sharing ratioã€pile-soil stress ratio are studied in different working conditions, including the end of constructionã€maintenance, low water and high water.(3) Using single factor analysis method, separately change the diameter and length of the pile, cushion modulus and other factors and analysing the bearing capacity of the composite ground and response of mechanical properties of locks’ structure in different working conditions, their effect laws can be studied through comparative analysis. |
