With the rapid development of highway enterprise in our country, the role of culvert in highway is becoming more and more obvious. Steel corrugated pipe culvert as one of the basic types of highway culvert, because of its characteristics of flexible structure and adapt to the deformation, the ratio of in the culvert of is becoming more and more large, and this phenomenon in special geological region performance is more obvious. This paper study on mechanical properties of corrugated steel culvert and deformation cooperativity between corrugated steel culvert and subgrade under heavy traffic in low embankment. Combined with the actual engineering project, through the field test and numerical simulation of steel corrugated pipe culvert in the deformation and mechanical characteristics of low embankment under heavy traffic, as well as the coordination with the deformation of subgrade performance is analyzed, the main research content is as follows:①Combined with the domestic and foreign research status of steel corrugated pipe culvert, the mechanical properties of the corrugated steel culvert material and engineering properties, the using conditions of steel corrugated pipe culvert and their applicability are given.②According to a diameter of 3 meters, fill height 2.6 meters of the field test of steel corrugated pipe culvert, it is concluded that the steel corrugated pipe culvert tangential strain, tube weeks tangential strain field test data. The result shows that the tangential strains of corrugated steel culvert change with test point of corrugated steel culvert, but have similar change laws when different load was applied on different positions. These test datas indicate that the tangential strains are different when the loads act on different lanes, and the test points of which are at the same angle in different sections have similar change pattern, though their values are different with test point of load changing.③Combined with field test, through the numerical simulation method to determine conditions under the condition of steel corrugated pipe culvert pipe top and bottom peaks and troughs force characteristic, along the pipe culvert to the stress distribution of circular ring.④Analysis of pipe culvert change law of vertical displacement and vertical displacement of the subgrade, further analysis collaborative deformation of steel corrugated culvert and subgrade under heavy traffic in low embankment.The research results given steel corrugated pipe culvert mechanical performance in low embankment and under heavy traffic, mainly including the strain and stress. And analysis the collaborative deformation of steel corrugated culvert and subgrade under heavy traffic in low embankment, has important theoretical and application value.
