| So far the vast majority of highway has been constructioned is the asphalt pavement.However,due to the rapid development of China’s highway career and limited natural resources have made a large number of high quality aggregates had reached the demand of the status quo,this brings great pressure to the mining and aggregate supply. Therefore, the research of the applicability of different sets has become the urgent need for the development of highway construction.In addition, the low temperature cracking is one of the major diseases of asphalt pavement, it is often the beginning of other diseases. The presence of cracks and other diseases caused by it have a great influence on pavement performance.So the study of low temperature cracking of asphalt mixture performance has been the focus of research scholars at home and abroad of road engineering. In view of this, in this paper, the low-temperature performance of rubber asphalt mixtures made of three kinds of aggregates: basalt, tuff, granite and three kinds of gradations: SMA-13, AC-13,Type B have studied.First, through a series of indoor tests related to rubber asphalt, all kinds of aggregates, additives and other raw materials, determining the raw material of various indicators meet the specification requirements; Secondly, the work on 9 groups of asphalt mixtures by three kinds of aggregates corresponded should be carried under the Marshall mix design, determining the mixed materials of the optimum asphalt aggregate ratios; Again, according to the optimum proportions form two required for low temperature test specimen: splitting specimen and trabecular specimen(secondary molding); And complete different temperature(10℃ and 0℃, 10℃, 20℃) of low temperature fracturing test and low temperature bending test research. Finally, collectting and analyzing a large number of experimental datas have obtained by low-temperature test, and using the knowledge of mathematical statistics of variance analysis to analysis and verification; At the same time, using the variation coefficient analyzes two kinds of the characteristic of low temperature test datas.The research shows that the data variation coefficient of low temperature bending test is bigger than the low-temperature split test, and the data discretes large. So, the results and conclusions of the split test data are more valuable for the subject. In addition, the variation coefficient of strain variation at-20℃ is also larger, so the test results of the-20℃ is only for reference. Through the splitting test data analysis, asphalt rubber mixture composed by different aggregates and different gradations,the low temperature performance ranking: Tuff > granite > basalt. Through this research, we can not only have a certain understanding of low temperature properties about asphalt mixture composed by different aggregates and different gradations, but also provide technical advice for a variety of different areas reasonably use a variety of aggregates to reduce aggregate demand in the present situation. |
