In the recent seven years,asphalt rubber mixture has been used more and more in the construction of asphalt pavement in Shaanxi province.However,in the application of asphalt rubber mixture,the problem of less rutting of asphalt rubber pavement than other asphalt pavement,but the problem of low dynamic stability makes road workers feel puzzled.Thus,the following questions arsing: What are the technical indexes for evaluating the high temperature performance of asphalt rubber.Does the evaluation method of high temperature stability of asphalt rubber mixture need to be improved.Does the asphalt rubber mixture require to improve high temperature performance.Therefore,it is necessary to carry out the research on the application of asphalt rubber mixture based on high temperature stability.And solving these problems has great practical significance for the application of asphalt rubber in the actual engineering.First of all,the evaluation indexes of high temperature performance of asphalt rubber is mainly from the conventional high temperature indexes to analyse.The high temperature technical indexes of asphalt rubber are determined by softening point and viscosity.According to the softening point and viscosity indexes,the influence factors of high temperature performance of asphalt rubber were studied by variance analysis.The results show that the amount of rubber powder has a great influence on softening point and viscosity indexes.Asphalt type has a significant influence on softening point of asphalt rubber.Secondly,to evaluate the high temperature performance of asphalt rubber mixture method,mainly through rutting test,uniaxial penetration test,mechanical strength test and static modulus test to compare the high temperature performance of asphalt rubber mixture?composite rubber asphalt mixture and SMA mixture.The results show that the asphalt mixture's shear strength,splitting strength,unconfined compressive strength,static modulus indexes of the results are: asphalt rubber mixture <composite rubber asphalt mixture <SMA mixture.Therefore,the evaluation method of high temperature stability of asphalt rubber mixture was determined by rutting test.Then,for the high temperature performance of asphalt rubber mixture's improving measures,mainly through the gradation type,composite SBS modification and anti rutting agent on the high temperature properties were also studied.The results show that the the asphalt rubber continuous gradation mixture high temperature performance is slightly better than that of asphalt rubber gap gradation mixture.Compound SBS technology and rutting resistance agent can improve the high temperature performance of asphalt rubber mixture.Finally,the aging of asphalt rubber mixture's high temperature performance were studied,the results show that the high temperature performance of asphalt rubber mixture after aging is improved,This can explain the actual engineering practice of the actual rubber asphalt mixture pavement in the long-term use process,the high temperature performance is not worse than the SBS modified asphalt pavement.
