In recent years, because of the prominent performance on anti-cracking, noise absorpting, and environmental protection, the rubber asphalt mixture has many successful applications in Arizona, California and other America states. There are also successful applications in Guangdong and Sichuan. From both abroad and domestic application experience, it shows that rubber asphalt mixture is a fine pavement material with good high-temperature performance. But about weather the asphalt amount will affect the high-temperature performance of the mixture, the study still not enough to explain, especially the systermatially study about the influencing factor. Therefore, this paper is of great practical significance.This paper mainly use the Rutting test to analyze the high temperature stability of rubber asphalt mixture, trying to find out the main influence factors through the study of different compaction methods,different kinds of crumb rubber,different mesh of crumb rubber,different crumb rubber content,different gradation,different types of aggregates and so on.First of all, preliminarily fix the material performance test and gradation, and then take rutting test (including immersion rutting test) as the major method: first short-term aging of fresh mixture before compacting, then compact specimen for 40 times.Secondly analyze the influence of rubber asphalt on the high-temperature stability of rubber asphalt mixture. Research shows that, the dynamic stability of rubber asphalt mixture has almost linear relationship with softening point and viscosity. Different asphalt from different manufacturers and origin also has different performance. Besides, the source of powder, size and content also affect the high temperature performance.Then discuss the influence of aggregate on high temperature stability. Through rutting test and immersion rutting test it shows out that, coarse aggregate as basalt, fine aggregate as limestone mixture has a better comprehensive performance of all limestone mixture. Arizona recommended gap gradation asphalt mixture don't perform better than SMA/AC gradation. But through immersion rutting test, the former one performs better than the latter two gradations.After adding the Anti-Rutting and Anti- Stripping agent, the high temperature stability, especially under immersion rutting has been noticeably improved. However, after taking into account of the economic factors, it doesn't a wise choice.Through the test road, rubber asphalt mixture showed a good performance. Field test results show that the rutting of asphalt rubber mixture over the high temperature performance of the original design of SBS mixture requirements.
