Research On The Green Space System Planning Of Small Towns Based On Regional Characteristics

The acceleration of urbanization process intensifies environment problems, affecting people’s normal life in cities. Therefore, people began to explore the methods to maintain harmony with nature. In recent years, our country gradually proposes creating a resource-conserving and environment-friendly society, and one of basic approaches to build such a society is the construction of a green space system.At present, the planning and construction of urban green space system has caught unprecedented attention while also obtaining many development opportunities. But the existing green space system planning model and theoretical system in our country still need to be improved, especially the green space system planning in small towns. Many small towns in the tide of rapid economic development utterly seek economic and political interests but ignores the characteristics of local resources and unique cultural background, and lost the unique space environment and culture atmosphere owing to pursuing quick urban construction. Hence, in the green space system planning, for small towns with special regional characteristics, governments should pay more attention to the use of local characteristics in the planning. The full combination of local cultural characteristics, historical background and natural conditions with planning and design will contribute to the establishment of a scientific theory system and method for the green space system planning of small towns based on the regional characteristic in research and practice.This paper explores the green space system planning in Suide County and analyzes the characteristics that the green space system planning of Suide County differs from other regions. Meanwhile, in discussing advantages and disadvantages of the green space system planning of Suide County, it also discusses the problems facing the green space system planning of small towns. First of all, this thesis, based on research on related problems existing in the green space system planning of small towns with regional characteristics, introduces the problems that should be attached attention in local characteristic-based green space system planning:1.The planning should stick to the concept of sustainable development, develop ecological economy as the growth, adjust urban space layout, establish compound ecological system.Pay attention to the areas,and much attention should be paid to how to dock with the surrounding environment and affect surrounding ecological environment,.2.Propose to protect existing resources, improve the ecological environment, cultivate the characteristics of country towns; targeted at optimizing the structure of landscape construction layout, improve the quality of urban ecological environment, and beautify city appearance; reasonably conform greenbelt index, make efforts to improve the guiding ideology of operational planning.3.In the process of this planning, restrictive factors such as the local natural conditions and socioeconomic status in small towns should be fully considered.Adhere to the concept of landscape architecture, give full consideration to the natural conditions in arid and semi-arid Suide County,in choosing greening plants, management extensive plants should be given priorities. At the same time, pay attention to the protection of local environment resources.4.Suide County established a system based on green culture, function, ecology three aspects of planning and positioning, and put forward the planning principles such as overall coordination, comprehensive arrangement; Adjust measures to local conditions and matching species with the site; Balanced layout and reasonable proportion; Ecological priority, cultural characteristics; Save energy and protect the environment; integrate both the short-term plans and long-term plans, and implement by stages. At the same time, this planning for the green space system planning in Suide County will be conducive to establishing a relatively complete index system, and offer guiding significance to the construction of the green space in this county town.5.It raises the overall scheme, “one round and two belts, six parks and more points”; the general layout of planning can be summarized as: Specific ideas of the combination of large landscape green space in suburban districts with middle and small green space in urban areas, the open green space with operational green space, historical relics protection with landscape green space construction, zonal greenbelt with dotted green space.
