Firstly, this paper analyzes the status quo of safety assessment of construction lifter in service. Introduce the status quo of the research of measures that guarantee construction lifter safety at home and abroad. Analysis the equipment related to construction lifter, relevant codes and standards. This paper expounds the mathematical principle of analytic hierarchy process (AHP) and principal component analysis (PCA), and its application in the determination of weight. Provide theoretical basis for the safety assessment of construction lifter.Conclude the factors which influence the safety of construction lifts by analyzing 20 construction lifter accidents happened from 2002 to 2014, then Points out that the index of safety assessment. To determine the main safety indexes, this paper focusing on the steel structure, the transmission system, electrical equipment and safety protection device. Consulting special equipment specialist and getting safety indexes score. Analyzing the score in matalab depend on analytic hierarchy process to get the importance of the quantitative safety indexes. Consulting 20 testing personnel and getting safety indexes score. Analyzing the score in SPSS depend on principal component analysis to get the importance of the quantitative safety indexes. The important indicators are as described below. Steel structure: weld besides columns and sill and mudsill, the prevented loss iron, abrasion of columns and sill and mudsill, deformation of landing door, abrasion of main chord member, abrasion of spline, straightness deviation of main chord member, weld besides level web member and diagonal web member. The transmission system:detent, steel wire rope, gear, pinion shaft. Electrical equipment:Electrical control cabinet, electrical insulation, earthing device. Safety protection device:safety device, interlocking device in landing door, interlocking device in hanging door, terminal stopping switch and baffle, interlocking device in enclosure door. Reference the standard of safety assessment of tower crane in service, then protocol safety assessment system of construction lifter in service.According to the safety assessment system of construction lifter in service this paper protocol, assess a construction lifter which type is SCD200/200.The tanking is B, which means we can use it according to the original performance of 80%~90%.
