The Research On Evaluation Of Guiding Sign In High-speed Railway Station

Due to complex spatial structure and multiple station function and large passenger flow of high-speed railway station, passengers always get lost when facing routing selection. So it is extremely important to discuss and study how to quantitative evaluate the station guiding sign system and propose improvement suggestions aim to inducing passengers to rapidly find routing to destination and enhancing the planning and design of station guiding sign system, according to current situation in high-speed railway station operation.First, the paper analyzes particularly the research achievement at home and abroad and introduces the concept and effect and classification of station guiding sign system, analysis current situation of station guiding sign system. Second, influence factors and design elements are discussed in detail, layout optimization design of station guiding sign system is specially discussed.Third, based on the analyses of information passing principle and space syntax and visual perception, the paper study the visible and identifying of vision, and present the concept of "most disadvantageous site",and propose quantitative evaluation of station guiding sign system. Finally, according to the 1st floor of Guang-zhou South Station, quantitative evaluation of station guiding sign system is performed and improvement suggestions is proposed.
