In the past thirty years, in order to meet the needs of national economic development, a large number of railway, highway, bridge has been established. However, the bridge safety accidents occur frequently sounded the alarm for us. After the bridge structure is put into operation, there will inevitably occur overload and material degradation, which will challenge the safety of the bridge structure. Through the analysis of bridge, to understand the vulnerable parts of the bridge,so as to facilitate the bridge maintenance, monitoring and early warning.Firstly, a brief introduction to the definition of vulnerability and its influencing factors, and further summarizes the relationship between bridge health monitoring and vulnerable parts analysis, and expounds the purpose and the main content.Secondly,the paper discusses the finite element simulation method of each component part of the long-span cable-stayed bridge, and taking the huaian minjiang bridge (45+67+416+67+45 m) for engineering background,the calculation model of cable-stayed bridge had been established through FEA software ANSYS10.0. And carries on the adjustment to the finite element model using measured data.Then, analysis of the vehicle load effects on bridges under normal operation conditions, and carries on the analysis to the structural vulnerability in normal operation condition of cable-stayed bridge, found the vulnerable parts of the cable-stayed bridge which in the normal operation condition. Then, using the IBIS-S micro-deformation remote monitoring radar system stayed in the normal operating conditions for the deformation in real time. By measuring equipment to obtain a bridge main span various points in the case of normal operation of the dynamic deflection-time curve and vertical frequency, describes how to use these measured data discriminant bridge health.Finally, the paper introduces kinds of extreme load, and according to the specific situation of cable-stayed bridge in the overload, component degradation, typhoon three conditions of vulnerable parts analysis, so as to obtain the vulnerable parts of the cable-stayed bridge which under extreme load.Then, it will provide guidance for the sensors layout in the bridge health monitoring and the design of early warning system.In addition,it can provider reference for future similar bridge design.In a word, the attempt and explore this project has a certain significance.
