Gyantse town is one of the many cities and towns in Tibet, with the remoteness of the plateau harsh natural conditions, low levels of productivity, the first, second and third industries are seriously lagging behind closed behind for a long period of social and economic status, with the lack of self-blood urban own ability and other characteristics, Tibet urbanization is typically of underdevelopment.In the process of urbanization in Tibet, and how to achieve a reasonable and continuation of urban spatial structure, improve the level of urbanization, urbanization is need to examine the issue of Tibet. Town of Gyantse are accelerating the development and economic restructuring process, urban spatial structure has undergone tremendous changes, has been unable to meet the needs of the current process of rapid urbanization, thus we use the theory relevant scientific research methods, combining the basic theory of urban planning, for Gyantse evolution of urban spatial structure was studied, and proposed optimization suggestions for promoting of urbanization in Tibet, which has some positive significance.In this article, based on the history of collating information and Gyantse County, combing, field reconnaissance and interviews, etc., to Gyantse urban spatial structure evolution studies.
