The function of Car body as the main load-bearing part of high -speed train is to bear the weight of passengers and their own equipment.And with diverse of the customer demand and generate cycles shorter, the traditional car body manufacturing mode can not meet the customer’s expectations, the paper selected the high-speed train car body as research object, systematically analysis of car body design and manufacturing process,build multi-level assembly information model of high-speed train established high-speed train car body assembly knowledge base, and introduced feature-based parametric modeling technology, a set of car body assembly sequence planning method. Meanwhile, the high-speed train car body assembly design system was developed by the assembly sequence planning method. This article main research content is as follows:1) To reduce the time which parts parameter changes when rebuild car body, through the analysis of the car body structure (mainly Profile), Profiles feature library and feature relation library was established by CATIA/CAA secondary development technologies. According to the different needs of designers, change the structure parameters of the parts and complete the rapid design of car body parts.2) in order to realize automatic assembly model information extraction, the car body multi-level model is converted into CATIA 3 d model, at the same time using CATIA/CAA secondary development to complete the assembly information extraction, finally through the e-r model of assembly rule base, the assembly of knowledge database is established in this paper.3) according to the assembly information, through the assembly knowledge based reasoning to complete the assembly sequence planning of parts and components layer 2, then based on the structural feature of parts and components, using the particle swarm method, set up comprehensive evaluation function, by assembling information to complete the car body parts assembly sequence planning of layer 1.4) To Implement f high-speed train car body assembly sequence planning, combined with multi-level information model, parametric modeling technology, and the particle swarm algorithm, using c# and CATIA/CAA programming software, the high-speed train car body assembly sequence planning system have been developed.
