The developments of the computer and relevant technologies have facilitated the information-based revolution of traditional manufacturing industry. Virtual Design, Virtual Manufacturing and Virtual Assembly have already attracted more and more attentions of universities, research institutes and enterprises, and these modernizing modes have become one Of the key technologies of manufacturing industry in 21st century.Assembly Sequence Planning is the important content of Virtual Assembly, which facilitates engineers carry out analysis of assembling performance to various schemes, then improve the assembly performance of the products and reduced repeating design process. The technology of Assembly Sequence Planning can help engineers to decrease products construction period, raise the efficiency and save the fund at the same time.Through the further research on assembly models, generating of assembly sequences, evaluating and selecting of assembly plans, which are the three major steps of Assembly Sequence Planning, this paper proposed the assembly information models basing on structure of the three dimension graphs, generalized methods of assembly sequence basing on cut-set, assembly experience and second fuzzy appraisal system. The procedures and methods provide approaches to solve large-scale and complicated assembly sequences.Finally, focusing on Pump—Ejecting Propellers, this paper set up the assembly sequences model and finished the simulation of the assembling process.
