| The road system featuring the expressway has been basically established in China. At the meantime, it also poses daunting challenges to the maintenance of the expressways. Asphalt pavement, as the major form of expressway pavement structure, has been made the focus of the expressway maintenance. The comprehensive evaluation of the asphalt pavement is of crucial importance to the scientific selection of the maintenance measures.Fuzzy Clustering Method, however, turns out to be efficient in this regard.By taking the maintenance of the Chengdu-Chongqing section of the Xiarong Expressway as the engineering project, This paper proceeds to evaluate the detection index of the asphalt pavement by adopting the gray clustering method, a branch of the fuzzy clustering method and taking the pavement condition index, riding quality index, pavement structure strength index, skidding resistance index and the rutting index as the evaluation index for gray clustering. What’s more, the environmental factors correction and dimensionless method are applied to detect the data. In addition, the evaluation is conducted in accordance with the eigenvalue of the white function. In light of the analysis of the evaluation results, it is proper to combine the thin overlay in the preventive maintenance of asphalt pavement and the crack mending before the overlay and maintenance in the section of the expressway that is subjected to maintenance, and conduct research on its construction technology and quality management, including the material index control, organizational management and quality control.Through the research on the engineering project, this paper aims at finding out the optimal plans for the maintenance of the expressway and explore the implementation process so as to reduce the maintenance cost, enhance the management level, improve the pavement operating conditions, prolong the service life and give full play to its social and economic benefits. |
