Inland waterway transport in China has high capacity, covers an area of less, low energy consumption, low pollution, low cost, the advantage of sustainable development. The infrastructure of inland river shipping in Jilin Province and other relevant factors have been largely improved after the development of over ten years, especially after "the Sixteenth Party Congress" put forward the strategic task of speeding up the adjustment, reform and revitalization of North-east Industrial Bases. Reasonable inland waterway planning and design, help to achieve the main resource hinterland and consumption of effective connection as well as the major rivers jianghai direct transportation, to strengthen the regional economic and material exchanges, promote the formation of industry concentration areas along the Yangtze river, play the radiating and driving play of major cities in the area of economy. Basin analysis and prediction of social and economic development and shipping requirements. According to Jilin Province inland water transportation development planning guidelines, according to the shipping development of tonghua city, baishan city implementation plan, combining with the relevant cultural tourism resources in jilin province. To analyze the construction requirements and jilin province inland waterway freight passenger demand,, such as Jian Port, Longhu Port and Linjiang port of the three major ports turnover volume of freight traffic and passenger prediction and calculation.3. Shipping development planning in the future.
