With the rapid development of Chinese economics, large and medium-sized cities accelerate the pace of development and have a large number of floating population at the same time, insufficient traffic carrying capacity has become a bottleneck to restrict the further development of the city. As an important member of city traffic system, the subway has many advantages, such as convenient and fast, less affected by weather factors. After a sudden growth of subway traffic influenced by the holidays, the rush hour and other factors, the subway makes electrical coupling through the coupler, achieving the two trains running to relieve sudden increase of subway traffic. Subway traffic decreased after the peak, the subway returns to a single train to run through electrical uncoupling, in order to achieve the purpose of energy saving.Train passenger information system integrates passenger compartment broadcast, intercom communications, information display and dynamic route map display function, it concretely can be divided into the following three subsystems:passenger announcement, passenger information display system, closed circuit television. With the maturities of subway and IT technology, subway should provide passengers with more comprehensive information services, in addition to meet requirements of alleviating the running pressure. After the two trains making electrical coupling through the coupler, passenger information system forms a large passenger information system through the MVB network and Ethernet, conventional passenger information system software cannot solve a variety of devices address conflicts and realize the passenger information system coupling. After the two trains making electrical uncoupling, they can return to the passenger information system respectively. Software of automatic coupling and uncoupling for train passenger information system solves the above problems, in addition to providing comprehensive information services in a single train running mode, when the trains make electrical coupling or uncoupling, the software can automatically realize the passenger information system coupling or uncoupling without human intervention, making it work normally, and providing high quality information services.This thesis firstly introduces the coupling and uncoupling for train passenger information system, and put forward the research significance of this thesis. Secondly, it introduces the composition structure of train passenger information system in a subway project, on the basis of the above, analyzing required functions of the software of coupling and uncoupling for train passenger information system. Then according to the functional requirements, the thesis establishes a framework for the overall functions of the software, from starting of overall framework, and introduces the specific implementation plans of various functions. Finally, in a simulated test environment, the detailed software testing has been done to ensure the functional accuracy and reliability. Currently, the software has been applied in a subway project, running well.
