The automobile largely expands our scope of activity. However, with the development of cities, the traffic jams becomes world issues. Governments and businesses spend a lot of manpower and material resources to alleviate traffic jams at home and abroad. Using technology to improve the efficiency of road system and meeting travel demands with existing resources and low cost is widely accepted and used.With the establishment and deployment of ITS, governments and businesses gradually build sets of traffic cloud system to provide an efficiency method for the analysis of traffic data. And public travel oriented services are more and more on the internet.This paper was based on the traffic issue of Hangzhou. After some market research on public travel apps, we clear the system requirement and target and initiate the work from three aspects, which are database design, server design and client design.(1) Use MySQL to store real-time traffic data, real-time parking data and path-plan data, which are gathered from company cloud platform.(2) Choose RESTful framework to build a web server, which provides a series of interfaces, including real-time traffic queries, traffic performances index queries, parking queries and path planning queries. Build a socket push server to delivery traffic messages to on-line clients.(3) Choose android smart phones as the carrier of app software. The app show the real-time traffic, parking space, traffic performance index, navigation and voice reports.Finally we designed a public transport app based on business traffic cloud. People in Hangzhou could know the real-time road conditions on the app, so they can avoid traffic jam when going out, and quickly find the free parking.
