With the rapid development of city construction, the urban traffic gets more and more complex. Real-time traffic information based digital map has applied to many fields of the intelligent transportation system. The traditional traffic information acquisition is severely affected by the equipment. It has acquisition blind and its information is not enough. Mutual traffic information acquisition has become a hotspot in recent years.In order to solve these problems above, this paper focuses on mutual aid real-time traffic information for digital map and its related technologies. At first, through the analysis of the source of real-time traffic information, floating car is used to share its position and traffic image. The model of mutual aid real-time information digital map is proposed. Through comparing the existing wireless transmission channel, use a variety information transmission method. Then dynamic driving algorithm is proposed, which used to remind users when the driving conditions of the road is changed. Finally study on the map optimization method. Map optimization has two aspects. One is to use the data cutting, data to adjust, data compression, code optimization technology to reduce data storage space. The other is to use the cache to manage data as it can speed up the data access.A prototype system was presented, along with the case study, including the performance of traffic congestion information, traffic cloud information, road imaging information, traffic control information and traffic event information. Test the map optimization method. The result shows data reduce method and the cache works.
