In recent years, with the rapid development of construction industry, the construction energy consumption draws people’s attention. As power consumption is the biggest component in the construction consumption, the energy conservation issue in electrical system in buildings becomes rather important. The electrical systems in buildings are numerous with various functions, but the elevation of living quality makes people put forward higher requirements in aspects of building environment; meanwhile, the power demand in electrical system of building increases continuously. On the basis of satisfying operating requirements of high standard, huge power consumption can only be relieved effectively by developing studies on building electrical energy conservation technology and constantly exploiting new energy. Therefore, this paper focuses on the central task of electrical energy conservation in buildings and develops studies in two aspects of the energy conservation in building illuminating system and the elevation of the efficiency of present solar energy system.This paper designs an illuminating equipment energy conservation system based on automatic control technology. Taking advantage of people’s phototaxis, this paper adopts the means of zone control and artificial control and designs the software and hardware systems of upper computer and lower computer in illuminating energy conservation control system. With low cost, excellent components and parts, and simplified and effective software algorithm, energy consumption decreases effectively. Secondly, this paper starts from the elevation of green new energy efficiency and improves present solar tracking techniques. This paper designs a small-scale condensation solar energy for buildings, with automatic tracking and condensation functions, so as to enhance the efficiency of solar photovoltaic power generation.Lastly, the developed energy conservation scheme is applied in the first-stage project of construction of Chinalco academy of telecommunications technology in south part of future technology in Changping district, Beijing; the input and power consumption are calculated, which are compared with those in the original designing scheme. It can be seen that the illuminating energy conservation system exploited in this paper can take back the cost within 6 years and get earnings continuously. Meanwhile, the generating efficiency of solar panel can be elevated to 1.65 times of ordinary solar panel. Thus, the studies on this topic has vast potential for future development and broad market value.
