Energy resource and environment are the great social problems that every country especially our country is faced with. Building energy conservation is the main approach to solove energy resource. The adoption of composite wall is one of main act for building energy conservation.The thermal property of composite wall and building energy consumption analysis are of important significance for building energy conservation, which are not only new but also long and hot research task. This paper make complement for thermal property of composite wall and building energy consumption from theory point of view on the basis of beforehand, combined with energy simulation and field measurement . The main research contents are as follows:(1)Solve the dynamic conduction of composite wall with resemble theory, which is validated with the example. Present analytical resolution of unsteady conduction of composite wall at any first boundary condition. Introduce Green Function to agitate unsteady conduction of composite wall, educe the Green Function of unsteady conduction of composite wall and introduce the physical significance of Green Function.(2) Present concept of heat construction factor which reflects the sequence of composite wall and describe the thermal property of composite wall with heat construction factor. Heat construction factor can perfect thermal property of composite wall as one of factors to evaluate thermal property of composite wall. Compute the heat construction factor of 8 type of composite wall under weather of two main cities in severe cold area. Provide another approach for the thermal property of composite wall and building energy consumption analysis. At last, validate the theory analysis with EnergyPlus simulation software, at the same time, validate the effect of different composite wall on building energy consumption.(3) Simulate the energy consumption for severe cold area in heating period and compare it with the result of test. Present the modification method for applying EnergyPlus simulation software, improve its applying value. Sum up the idea of optimizing the building envelope under equal thermal comfort. Present the efficient temperature mode for room, and the effect on building energy consumption.(4) Finish the exact test on energy consumption and temperature field during heating period in severe cold area which is the full and true data for energy consumption in china. Sum up the characteristic of heating energy consumption and variation of temperature, analyze the solar radiation on temperature when on and off heating system, analyze the unit heat transfer on energy consumption. Line regression of building and heating unit are made on the basis of testing result, and make the error analysis for testing result.The paper solves the dynamic conduction of composite wall with resemble theory; present the Green Function of composite wall;present the heat construction factor which reflects the sequence of composite wall to perfect the thermal property of composite wall and building energy consumption analysis; simulate the energy consumption for severe cold area in heating period and make test on it, all thee work are of value for building energy conservation.
